The Crank Brothers Candy 3 Pedals, Dual Sided Clipless, Aluminum, 9/16 is an XC and trail clipless pedal for mountain bikers who want fast, four-sided entry and a small platform underfoot. The open eggbeater mechanism sheds mud and lets riders clip in from any angle.
A 6061-T6 aluminum body measuring 67 by 74mm surrounds a chromoly 9/16-inch spindle, spinning on outboard Enduro cartridge and inboard igus bearings under a double seal. The set weighs 340 grams per pair and ships with cleats that set 0 or 6 degrees of float and a 10, 15, or 20 degree release angle, all backed by a 5-year warranty.
Four-sided entry and a mud-shedding mechanism mean a rider clips in quickly on chunky trail without stabbing at the pedal.
