The Carbon Wailer 107 is the newest ski addition to DPS's homage to skiers who have shaped the brand over the last 15 years. The Wailer 107 is a brand new shape and design from DPS, and it's the long-awaited mid-fat version of the beloved Wailer 100. The Wailer 107 was designed to simplify and enhance your skiing experience. The intuitive nature of the ski allows you to focus more on having fun while skiing powder and less on struggling to get a ski to turn. They come with a 15m turning radius that is very nimble and can turn on a dime even in the deepest powder. The skis achieve optimal float in powder due to the tapered shovels and rocker-camber profile that helps keep you from nose-diving or submarining a ski tip.
The Carbon Wailer 107 incorporates a blend of advanced materials. DPS is leading the charge with the plant-based technology industry with Checkerspot Algal sidewall technology (~60% bio-based) and Entropy bio-based epoxy resin (25% bio-based). The hybrid Carbon + Fiberglass laminate and poplar core make for a springy, lively ski that will hold onto its “feel” for years.
