The Dynafit Ultra 100 Running Shoe is built for long days on the rolling singletrack and mountain steeps. The runs where you can listen to more than one Grateful Dead show on your ear buds kinds of runs. The soft mid sole has superior damping characteristics, which means greater comfort even after many, many miles on the trail. The POMOCA out sole is ideal for varied terrain and delivers grip that you can rely on, even in wet conditions. The heel pre-loader provides excellent support for your ankle and heel. Laces can be stowed under the practical stretch mesh panel, keeping them protected and ensuring that they don't loosen while you're running. The ULTRA 100 has a drop of 6mm. Pick the Ultra 100 Running Shoe for your next 100 kilometer or miles, you decide.

*We suggest sizing up at least half a size in this shoe. It runs VERY short.

Awesome Shoes!

Love these things right out of the box!! Plenty of cushioning, great traction, and they cinch down tight without making my feet hurt. These are replacing my Speedgoats as my go-to trail shoes. I sized up a full size and would recommend doing so as these run really small

Really liking these shoes

I have had a chance to run in these shoes twice - both have been over snow packed roads - but have been really surprised at their stability and overall feel underfoot, especially on the downhill portions.

Quality quality quality

Shoe is stellar, quality reinforcement. The design is sick and color schemes are rad. I wear a size 9 in almost all shoes across the board. I did some research and ordered a 10.5 and they fit perfect. Advice- order 1.5 sizes bigger than what you normally wear. Other than that, 10/10

post imogene pass run review

Supportive, comfortable trail shoe did great on the ascent of IPR, however the descent proved to be quite difficult and painful as the toe box was narrower than I had previously experienced after wearing on shorter distance runs. My foot tends to run fairly neutral and I've not noticed the Saucony peregrine and Nike kerra tigers having this issue. Sadly these are not the shoes for me

The best for the big days

If I could only have one shoe, these would be the ones! The Ultra design provides enough cushion and comfort for big days, but they're light and snappy enough for spadework and daily runs. I dig the Pomoca rubber outsole. They're grippy and durable and not over-the-top aggressive. I put 450 miles on these before grabbing a new pair (90% on trail). At this point, the outer started to blow out, but the tread was still in great condition.

My recommendation is to go up one full US size. With that in mind, fit is great for a medium-wide foot.

Ask a Question: Would definitely be interested in a US size XS (EU46 Small) of the Dynafit alpine WP 2.5L rain jacket if you can get your hands on one. Unfortunately, US resellers do not carry the XS size (demand is probably too small) and i have been forced over the years to buy from European sites.
Totally satisfied!

As an ultra runner, the Dynafit Ultra 100 have become my go to shoes for over 1 year. The design, level of quality, durability and performance have made them essential to my training (and hopefully one day soon... racing!). Availability worldwide has been a nagging issue as Dynafit has been slow to replenish their stock. I desperately needed a new pair and was incredibly fortunate to land on Cripple Creek Backcountry website with availability in my size 10. The rest is history. Fantastic service, fast shipment and now back running hard on trails!

Dyno-mite for my next 100-miler

Hadn’t heard that Dynafit makes trail running shoes and gear until recently, and was skeptical: Can a ski company’s foray into footwear rival Salomon and Hoka? One 12-mile out-of-the-box run later, with a PR on that training segment, I was already seeing the light. The lockdown and protection are outstanding, but what really sets this shoe apart is the ride: more forgiving than the Salomon S Lab Ultra 3 but more precise and nimble on rough terrain than the Hoka Soeedgoat or Evo Mafate 2. In other words, the right balance for the mountains. Highly recommend and plan to use for my next 100-mile ultra.

Comfy and Reliable

I needed a new pair of shoes with a little bit less cushion and more durability than the oka (the H is silent) I've had in the past. Having recently used them on a 45 mile backpacking trip in the Elk Mountain wilderness of Colorado with a light, but not ultra light backpacking setup, I can attest to how good my feet felt at the end of the day. Multiple stream crossings were had where it was impossible to keep your feet dry. In a few hours of walking they were dry as a bone again. The traction is great and I never felt like I was slipping even when I lost the trail. Oh yeah and I train road running in them as well. Overall a great shoe for multiple uses from running to multi day backpacking.

Comfy, Protective and Light

I have been running in the Ultra 100 all Spring and am really impressed by it. I would not constitute myself a "runner" by any means but I have used for everything from 5 - 15 miles of Colorado single track, to power hiking up 14ers and running down. The padding under foot is awesome and my feet don't ache at the end of my "run." The extra padding really helps to smooth out the trail when navigating through rocks and roots. Despite being an ultra cushioned shoe they don't feel heavy or mushy on my feet and I still feel agile moving through technical sections of trail. K **Disclosure, I work as a rep for Dynafit.**
