Kids Ride Shotgun, Dirt Hero, Push Bike

The Dirt Hero is a balance bike built by people who actually ride, and it shows in the geometry. It is slack, low, and stable, closer to a scaled-down enduro bike than the upright toy-store shape, which keeps a two-year-old centered and confident when the ground tilts downhill or gets loose. The frame and fork are 6061-T6 aluminum with thru-axles front and rear, and 2.25 inch pneumatic tires do the suspension work, adding grip and taking the sting out of roots and rocks.

The clever part is that one frame takes both 12 and 14 inch wheels, so the bike grows with the rider through roughly ages 2 to 5 instead of being outgrown in a season. That extra time on two wheels before moving to a pedal bike builds real skills, including braking. The Dirt Hero ships with a Magura hydraulic rear disc brake with a child-safe rotor guard and a lever with a lot of reach adjustment, which lets small hands learn to brake early rather than dragging a foot. Three swappable top tube skins are included.
