Moment Wildcat Tour 118 Ski
The Moment Wildcat Tour 118 exists for the days you set an alarm for, and it does not apologize for being a specialist. A 143-118-133 mm shape is a genuine powder platform, and Mustache Rocker, tip and tail rocker over camber underfoot, keeps the ski loose and slashy without giving up the edge you need on the traverse out. At 1,650 g per ski (174 cm) the Wildcat Tour 118 is heavy against a narrow touring ski and light for 118 mm underfoot, which is the whole trade.

Why We Like It
- A 143 mm shovel over a 118 mm waist and a 133 mm tail is as much surface area as Moment builds into a touring ski.
- At 1,650 g per ski (174 cm) the Wildcat Tour 118 undercuts the alpine Wildcat 118 by 350 g per ski at the same length, which is what the paulownia and ash core buys.
- Camber underfoot rather than the low camber of the Deathwish line gives this ski pop out of a slash instead of just float.
- Weight spreads 250 g per ski from 174 cm to 190 cm, so the long size costs less on the climb than the width suggests.
Best Uses
- Storm cycles and deep snow touring where float sets the tone
- Big open faces and low-angle powder laps
- Short-approach powder days and sled-assisted terrain
- A dedicated second ski alongside a narrower touring setup
- Pin-tech touring setups with 120 mm brakes
Ski Specialist's Advice
The Wildcat Tour 118 comes in 174, 179, 184 and 190 cm with radii of 25 m, 25.5 m, 26 m and 27 m. That is a long arc at every length, which tells you this ski wants open terrain rather than tight trees. Effective edge runs 1,400 mm at 174 cm to 1,560 mm at 190 cm, short for the lengths, which is why a 118 mm ski still pivots. Weight goes 1,650 g, 1,700 g, 1,750 g and 1,900 g per ski across the run, so we do not size down here to save the climb.
Moment publishes the mount at 6 cm behind true center on all four lengths, and that is our default drill. The ski comes flat with no plate and needs no reinforcement, so pin-tech and hybrid bindings both work. Match the binding to your boot sole norm rather than to the ski. On brakes, Moment recommends 120 mm against the 118 mm waist, and notes brakes running 7 mm to 9 mm off the waist in either direction still clear.
Skin width comes off the 133 mm tail rather than the 118 mm waist, so the Wildcat Tour 118 takes a 140 mm stock skin trimmed to shape. That is the widest stock width we carry and it leaves less trim margin than a narrower ski, so bring the skis in rather than guessing. With a rockered tail rather than a flat one, a wrap or strap tail fitting is what holds.
