Petzl IKO Core Headlamp

The Petzl IKO Core Headlamp might be the perfect ski touring headlamp (loud statement, I know). This new lighting system gives you 500 lumens of brightness in a scant 79 grams. The AIRFIT headband sits securely on your head without jostling around (compared to a traditional spandex headband). The IKO CORE's battery pack sits on the back of the headlamp, which we've found gives the lantern a more balanced feel. The battery is also USB-rechargeable or (3) AAA-battery-replaceable, awesome! If you're not into the 'on the head' style of headlamps, the IKO CORE can also be worn around your neck or used as a lantern with the included storage bag.
