Full-carbon, ultralight ski mountaineering race boots that are capable of much more than just racing, the Pierre Gignoux Black Alpine Touring Boots are designed to be the best. Coming in at only 600 grams, you'll fly up the skin track with ease.

These Pierre Gignoux boots feature a full carbon shell constructed completely by hand. The full carbon construction gives the boots impressive stiffness and skiing performance with a minimum weight penalty. The downhill walk mechanism relies on a single flip of a lever for quick and efficient transitions. For a secure and dialed-in fit, the internal lacing system allows for micro-adjustments. To keep your dry and comfortable in all conditions, the Black boots feature a fully waterproof neoprene gaiter.

To boost performance and make this boot capable of much more than racing, the sole of the Black is thicker with larger lugs than the Race. With low-tech inserts, the Pierre Gignoux Black boots are compatible with all low-tech touring bindings.

For those who demand ultralight race touring performance that does want a boot capable of more than just racing, the Pierre Gignoux Black Alpine Touring Boots won't disappoint.

Amazing boots and available in the US

After only 2 days, I'm very happy with this purchase. Boots are super light, ski great (I would say 98% of my Alien RSes), and, most important, they fit my wide feet which have been had a problem in a lot of boots. PG boots are likely your only choice for a full carbon boot if you have wide feet. To get your right size, measure your foot's length and width in mm, and then use the calculator on PG's website.

PG black boot

I started skiing the negos last season. I got a long and narrow foot. El negro is the most comfortable ski boot I've ever walked in. I ski a 76mm waisted ski with el negro, the boot holds its own. The boots feel way lighter than my la sportipha joggering shoes. Buy these boots with your credit card and never look back, you'll be pleased trust me.
