The Bullit 4 is the longest-travel electric bike Santa Cruz makes, 170 mm front and rear on mixed wheels, and it is closer to a downhill bike with a motor than to a trail e-bike. The chassis is Nomad-inspired and descent-focused, built on the same four-bar layout Santa Cruz introduced on the Vala rather than VPP, with proportional chainstays so a small and an XXL behave the same way. Every build comes in under 50 lb.

Two independent chips let you tune it. The geo chip raises or lowers the bottom bracket 4 mm and shifts the head angle 0.3 degrees; the progression chip moves leverage progression between 26 and 29 percent, so you can set it up for a plush bike park day or a bike that supports hard hits. The head angle sits at 63.3 degrees in the low setting. Bosch's Performance Line CX drive unit produces 85 Nm and draws on a 600 Wh PowerTube, with a discreet top tube display for charge and mode. This is the C carbon frame with SRAM Eagle 90 Transmission and Maven brakes. Frame and bearings carry a lifetime warranty.
