Bootfitter's Advice
The Scarpa 4-Quattro Pro runs a 100 mm last and is the lowest-volume shell Scarpa builds in this category, low through the instep as well as the forefoot. Feet that need a 102 mm shell will not be made comfortable by shell work alone on this boot.
A Pebax Rnew shell, a castor-oil-based plastic, punches and holds correction well, and the Alpine Axial construction makes entry easier than a conventional overlap boot. Plan on molding the Intuition 4Pro Flex Ride liner, a heat-moldable foam liner, to set heel hold.
