The SCOTT Addict Gravel 40 gravel bike is the entry point into Scott's carbon Addict Gravel platform, built for riders who want gravel-specific performance across technical terrain without the weight penalty of an alloy chassis. The Addict Gravel HMF Carbon frame runs Scott's gravel geometry with a replaceable UDH derailleur hanger, full internal cable routing, and Syncros fender kit compatibility, while the matching Addict Gravel HMF Flatmount Disc carbon fork uses a 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" eccentric steerer to keep front-end weight in check.
Drivetrain duties are handled by a Shimano GRX 24-speed build purpose-designed for off-road use: the RD-RX820 rear derailleur and FD-RX820-F front derailleur work with ST-RX610 shifters and an FC-RX610-2 double crankset running 46/30T rings, paired with a CS-HG710-12 cassette spanning 11-36T for a wide range suited to steep gravel climbs. Shimano BR-RX410 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm SM-RT-CL700 rotors front and rear deliver consistent stopping power, and Syncros RP2.0 disc wheels wrapped in Schwalbe G-One RX tires handle the mixed-surface rolling. The cockpit runs Syncros throughout: Creston 2.0 X alloy bars at 31.8mm, an RR2.0 four-bolt stem, a carbon SP-R101-CF seatpost, and a Tofino Regular 2.0 Cutout saddle.
