SCOTT Superguide Carbon Touring Boot (2021) - 27.5
Tech Specs
Deep Powder, Spring Corn, and choppy wind blasted slopes, the Superguide will take you where ever your ski‚s do. No matter the distance or the conditions the Superguide performs in any scenario. Slowly are the days of standing in a lift line waiting to get that one run of fresh snow disappearing, and endless turns in the backcountry the new norm.
Scott designed the Superguide with the everyday aggressive skier in mind. With a Grilamid and Carbon fiber construction, the Superguide takes you into steep and fast accents and descents. The Grilamid maintains its stiffness through thick and thin and maintains it shape for when clipped in ski mode. The Superguide comes in with a 125 flex thanks to it‚s rear hook ski/walk mechanism. The ski/walk mech also gives the boot a full 60 degrees of cuff rotation, making hiking feel like a stroll in the park. As an added durability with stiffness the Superguide is equipped with a 4-buckle system, similar to most alpine boots. This allows you to make micro adjustments were need be when making multiple laps and in your approach.
One of the best features of the Superguide is the Gore-tex liner that comes standard with the boot. The Gore-tex is an amazing addition to see in the touring world. No more worrying about snow or sweat ruining a long day of touring. The Superguide is still fully moldable even with the Gore-tex addition in the liner.
When traversing or hiking through rocky, windblown or uneven terrain, the Vibram rubber sole will allow you to walk through anything. You will maintain a sense of security with every step you take while not clipped in.
