Tech Specs
Features

  • Cabrio Hybrid design keeps things light on the climbs and responsive on the descents.
  • 103.5mm shell last, perfect for skiers seeking a higher-volume fit.
  • Natural walking motion provided by a generous 60 degrees of cuff articulation in walk mode.
  • Dial in the perfect feel with the adjustable forward lean, from 12 degrees to 14 degrees.
  • Drive the most aggressive skis with confidence thanks to the stout 120 flex rating.
  • Keeping your fire stoked through the demands of ski touring, the Scott Cosmos Tour Alpine Touring Boot is a perfect blend of walkability, downhill power, and comfort redesigned from the iconic Cosmos III. Scott's "Cabrio Hybrid construction" is a groundbreaking concept that takes multiple elements of existing boot technology and combines their best features into a ski boot that walks and skis as good as it looks!  The Cosmos Tour has 3 separate pieces in the shell and offers new concepts of buckle placement and styles. The result is a lightweight boot that doesn't lack downhill performance at a 120 flex rating.

With an accommodating wide last of 103.5mm, foot pain is a thing of the past on long tours. 60 degrees range of motion enables a fantastic stride and gives you all-day comfort as you're not walking "against" the boot while you're in tour mode. The Cosmos Tour's liner is yet another bonus point amongst its wide array of industry-leading features. It's light and thermo-moldable and still offers a familiar feel out of the box to bring confidence and comfort to the skier.

This truly is the best of both worlds for a ski touring freeride boot and creates a comfortable fit that's going to make everyone jealous on the uphill travel.  Where other brands count grams by ditching liner quality, Scott has surely embraced the importance of comfort in their brand new Cosmos line of boots.  At under 1400 grams, the Scott Cosmos Tour delivers on its promise of uncompromising quality.

Ask a Question: When do we get to see a Cosmos LITE?
Super wide, high volume allows big punches

My feet are something like an 11.5 in length and a 14 in width. I wear size 12.5 Altras. This was the only touring boot with enough volume (height) to accommodate big punches to the side (width). I removed the powerstrap, lower buckle, and laces for the liners to help them tour better. They do not have the 'effortless' walking of a more uphill oriented boot. I've had them down to around -15F. Also tried PDGs, Fischer Travers, and TLT8s, and these were much better in width and volume (couldn't close the instep wire on the TLT8s, for instance). I wish they made a true touring / mountaineering version as the high volume helps with avoiding frostbite and with foot swelling on long approaches. They don't hold my heels down that well when climbing ice.

    Big Feet Rejoice!

Listen up big feet! This is your boot! Last season the Cosmos was our stalwart for wide feet, high instep, etc. Basically, if you've got large feet for your shoe size, this is a GREAT boot for you. The Cosmos is packed with an adjustable forward lean option (stop in and we can make some adjustments for you) and a solid buckle system that ensures a good fit when you're walking uphill. 120 flex means you've got power pulsing through your veins. For those inclined to beat up their soles, there's even a durable Vibram sole!
