The dual-diameter 4-piston BR-M8220 caliper weighs about 140 grams and spreads clamping force for strong, controlled stops.

The 2-finger BL-M8200 lever, about 114 grams, uses Ergo Flow shaping, Servo Wave for quick pad engagement, and tool-less reach adjust. It runs Shimano low-viscosity mineral oil through an SM-BH90-SBM hose, uses finned metal pads to shed heat, and works with 160, 180, 203, and 220mm rotors.
