Silca Aero Socks - Tall

The Aero Socks Tall is an aero cycling sock from Silca, built for the road racer and time trialist chasing free speed at the ankle. The tall cuff stands 19.5 cm to sit right at the UCI sock-height limit, putting fabric where the rules allow the most aerodynamic benefit. Silca knits a smooth front panel where airflow stays laminar, then places three rows of raised turbulators ahead of the flow separation zone to energize the boundary layer, shrink the pressure wake, and cut drag.

Silca's wind-tunnel testing shows a 4 to 8 watt saving at 30 to 45 kph against a standard sock. The body knits from Q-Skin, a silver-ion polyamide that is antibacterial and odor resistant with no toe seam for all-day comfort. The unisex fit runs S through XL.
