The Smith Engage mountain bike helmet is built for riders who want to tackle trails with confidence. This model features zonal KOROYD® coverage for lightweight, energy-absorbing impact protection. The Mips® Brain Protection System further enhances safety by reducing rotational forces during angled impacts to the head. These technologies work together to ensure you stay protected whether you are navigating rock gardens or flowy rollers.
Smith designed this helmet with a focus on a personalized and secure fit. An adjustable dial fit system allows you to customize the feel, while extended back coverage provides a locked-in sensation. To keep you cool on exposed climbs, the helmet uses 21 fixed vents and an AirEvac ventilation system to pull heat away from your head. Front channels make it easy to stow eyewear, and a two-position visor rotates up to accommodate goggle storage on the go.
The construction of the Engage is both functional and durable for everyday mountain biking. It uses a lightweight in-mold construction that meets U.S. CPSC and CE EN 1078 safety standards. For added comfort, the helmet includes a performance lining and low-bulk single-layer webbing. Weighing in at only 12 ounces, this helmet offers a robust set of features without adding unnecessary weight to your ride.
