A 130mm carbon trail bike for riders who want one quiver-killer for everything between the climb and the chunk, the Transition Smuggler Carbon Eagle 90 from Transition Bikes runs 29-inch wheels, a RockShox Pike Select+ fork with 140mm of travel on 35mm stanchions, and a RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ shock sized 210x50mm out back. Carbon front and rear triangles get molded chainstay, seatstay, and lower down tube protection so the frame survives the rocks the suspension cannot soak up.
