Specialized Diverge E5

The Diverge E5 is Specialized's aluminum gravel bike and it no longer feels like the compromise version. The E5 Premium aluminum frame is paired with a full carbon FACT fork and, for the first time on the alloy platform, SWAT internal downtube storage. Tire clearance is the headline: 47 mm on 700c wheels or 2.1 inches on 650b. Complete weight is 10.48 kg.

Future Shock 3.1 sits in the head tube and gives 20 mm of travel at the bar. It is not a suspension fork and does not pretend to be, but it takes the edge off washboard and chunk in a way that keeps your hands working on hour five. This build runs Shimano CUES 2x10 with a 46/32T crank and 11-39T cassette, CUES hydraulic discs, Axis alloy wheels, and Pathfinder 700x40C tires. The bottom bracket is threaded, the thru-axles are 12x100 and 12x142, and the brakes are flat mount.
