The 2023 K2 Wayback 96 W is the bigger sister to its 88mm waisted counterpart and gains 8mm of waist width to provide an all-mountain touring beast. With virtually the same construction, the Wayback 96 features the same features, such as K2's Carbon Overdrive and T3 technology. Carbon Overdrive is uni-directional carbon fiber reinforced in critical areas to give the ski power while saving weight. The T3 technology is where this light ski carries a bit of energy and precision. With strategic placements of titanal all over the ski, the Wayback 96 W to feel comfortable on all snow types at all times!
The Wayback 96 W has a medium turning radius at 18m and a flat tail for precise turning (and jump turn ability in the spring) and is the perfect marriage of weight and performance enhancements that make this a top contender for "Favorite all mountain touring ski."
