Description
The Voile Objective BC touring ski features a stiff, lightweight construction and Traction Pattern Base for ski mountaineering and XC touring.
Tech Specs
The Voile Objective BC Touring Ski is designed for touring in variable snow conditions to help save your skis and skins from glue glops. The Voile Traction Pattern Base makes these skis the perfect companion for long tours on XC trails and on-piste dawn patrols. Though you'll still need a pair of skins on steeper slopes, the traction base will save you time and energy through rolling terrain where you need some traction but you don't want to take skins on and off.
The lightweight aspen wood core makes this ski ideal for springtime mountaineering adventures. Although the Objective BCs are unlikely to replace your pow boards, they will be your efficient objective checker for making those smooth carves down short and long runs. The ski is stiff enough to hold an edge on that East Coast ice but fun enough for any PNW Patrol Race.
Splitboard friends beware, you will be left in the dust by your Objective donning ski partners, as there’s little need for skins most of the time. This is also a great first ski for splitboarders, especially ones who already have a lightweight ski boot.
Made in the USA.
ATTENTION: These skis are intended to be used with AT bindings.
Voile Objective Skis mounted with telemark bindings or quiver killers are not covered under the Voile factory warranty. *The Traction Pattern base does not eliminate the need to carry skins.
