Cervélo engineered the Áspero to maximize speed through improved aerodynamic performance. The frame uses refined tube shapes to decrease drag, helping riders conserve energy for the final stages of a race. This model features a T47a threaded bottom bracket, providing a reliable and mechanical interface for easier maintenance. The inclusion of a Universal Derailleur Hanger ensures the bike remains compatible with modern drivetrain standards and future upgrades.
To manage vibration on unpaved surfaces, Cervélo lowered the seat stays and adjusted the front-end stiffness. These design choices create a compliant ride that reduces fatigue over long hours in the saddle. This build features a mechanical 12-speed SRAM Apex XPLR drivetrain and an Alexrims GX7 alloy wheelset to deliver dependable performance. With alloy touchpoints and a focused geometry, this bike offers a responsive and versatile experience for any gravel competition.
