Why We Like It
- At 1,345 g per boot (size 25), the 4-Quattro XT W skis like a resort boot while touring with a 61-degree range of motion, a balance few women's four-buckle boots reach.
- The 115 flex is strong and supportive for a women's touring boot, tuned softer than the men's 130 XT for lighter skiers while keeping the same overlap shell.
- The GripWalk (ISO 23223) Presa sole with tech inserts lets one boot pair with GripWalk alpine bindings and pin-tech touring bindings.
- The four-buckle closure with a Booster power strap wraps the low-volume shell securely for real downhill drive.
- Recco reflector technology is built in, adding a searchability aid for backcountry days.
- The Intuition 4PRO Flex XT women's liner is heat-moldable, with a scalloped cuff to accommodate the calf.
Best Uses
- One-boot quiver for resort days with a walk mode plus backcountry touring
- Freeride and sidecountry laps that mix lift access with short skins
- Aggressive skiing on skis 88 to 105 mm underfoot
- Women with narrow, low-volume, low-instep feet
- 50/50 skiers who want GripWalk and pin-tech compatibility in one boot
Bootfitter's Advice
The 4-Quattro XT W is one of the lower-volume women's boots we fit, running narrow through the midfoot with a notably low, tight instep. After fitting these, we find they suit narrow, flat, low-volume feet best. The instep and the second buckle can feel very snug out of the box, so plan on a heat mold to open the area, and confirm size with a shell fit rather than a street-shoe conversion.
We can punch the Grilamid Bio forefoot across the metatarsals, which the shell accepts well, but the low instep is the hardest area to gain volume in beyond a firm liner mold. Skiers with a high instep should budget for fit work or look at a higher-volume shell. Molding the Intuition liner locks in heel hold, and the scalloped cuff helps skiers with a lower or larger calf.

The Scarpa 4-Quattro SL W uses a softer Pebax Rnew shell and a standard power strap for a 100 flex, while the 4-Quattro XT W runs a stiffer Grilamid Bio shell and a Booster strap for a firmer 115 on the same 100 mm last.
