After a full year on the Scarpa Alien RS, Gary reviews the boot for our friends over at WildSnow.com
I've gotten to put a good full season on these babies in a lot of great applications and I am still as fired up as ever on this boot. I did do quite a bit of modding to my pair, but I think the stock option is great out of the box, and even better for race scenarios and fast travel on skis under 90mm wide.

The Alien RS is the first 1000 gram boot I've been interested in skiing in a non race setup, as I prefer bigger skis for even long and fast missions. I run this boot with lightweight 106mm waisted skis in powder, and have driven the heavier 102mm Black Crows Freebird with the Alien.
