I will admit, I have always been a Burton binding guy. To me, the Burton binding always had the best combination of attributes. The Spark Surge is as good as any Burton binding I have ever ridden. The Spark Surge has taken 3 solid years of touring and riding the chairlift. 4 hut trips, 2 centennial thirteeners, 1 fourteener and countless backcounrty and chairlift laps and it's still in good shape, WOW! Now, this is not your soft freestyle binding, the Surge is a hard charging freeride binding that is light and strong and will not let you down.
