Why We Like the Dynafit Rotation 7 Binding

The Dynafit Rotation 7 is an entry-level binding designed for lighter skiers, be it growing kids or lightweight women/men. Its adjustable release value range from 2.5 - 7.0 allows you to easily change this based on your height and ski style, and yes, you can still ski just as aggressively, with its rotating toe piece giving the binding a dynamic, elastic feel as it absorbs the impact of all your sweet jumps and bumps. An AFD plate on the brake promotes consistent lateral release from the heel without much friction. With up to 25 mm of boot-length adjustment, you can get your kid a pair of tech bindings knowing that there is plenty of room for growth without remounting the bindings. Three varying brake widths allow you to fit this binding on most all-mountain width skis. For the gram counters, these bindings clock in at 613 grams, not the lightest in the touring world but certainly one of the most durable, tough, and safe. All this combined gives us a strong and dynamic tech binding for the aspiring backcountry enthusiasts.

So far, it’s great! I have to get used to getting the screw holes on the boot into the binding but otherwise it worked really well!
