The Salomon MTN Pure Alpine Touring Binding is a stripped-down pin binding for ski mountaineers who want an aluminum binding with few moving parts. Interchangeable heel U-springs labeled Women, Men and Expert set the release, and guiding elements on the toe line the boot up with the pins. With a rotating heel that gives flat, medium and high climbing positions, a brake latch that works on its own and brakes as an option, the MTN Pure suits steep ski mountaineering, long spring days and training laps.

Mounting and Setup Advice
Release depends on which heel U-spring is fitted: Women, Men or Expert. A shop should match the spring to your weight, height, age, boot sole length and skier type. Brakes are an option from 80 to 120 mm; without one, ski with a leash.
The MTN Pure needs a boot with certified tech inserts at the toe and heel. Bring your boots in so we can check the inserts and fit the spring.
