Description

This windproof softshell offers the superior temperature regulation and moisture management of Vapour-Rise™, for winter activities such as hiking, mountaineering, and skiing. It features Pertex® Quantum Air shell for wind protection and a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish. The VR Warm lining is breathable and moves moisture away from the body. It's fitted with a double-ended zip for belaying and a hood with peak for protection against harsh elements. Hand pockets are easy to reach when wearing a harness or pack, and a chest pocket can hold a map or guide. Hem and cuffs can be adjusted using hook and loop for added warmth.

Brilliant jacket!

Initially very undecided about purchasing the jacket - did I really need it and all that. So pleased that I did. In cold conditions this jacket is perfect! Wicks extremely well with just the right amount of wind protection. Light and not too bulky to carry in the pack when not needed. Cut is ideal (would not agree with some reviewers who have said that the cut is too bulky in the mid section and tight in the shoulders). Medium was spot on for me (6’2, 160 lb). Very prompt service from Cripple creek too! If you winter hike/climb would very much recommend!
