Tech Specs
The Dynafit Mezzalama Ski is built for one purpose: racing to the summit and back down in the fastest time possible. Designed for Grand Course races, the Mezzalama ski features a slightly wider shovel, a longer tip rocker, and a shorter turning radius. These changes make it more forgiving, easier to control, and more energy-efficient on descents—all while keeping weight to a minimum.
Every detail of the Mezzalama is tuned for efficiency in high-alpine race terrain. Sidewall construction underfoot, paired with cap construction at the tip and tail, balances power transfer with forgiving edge release. A full Race wood core made from the top 10% of premium paulownia keeps the ski ultralight while still offering the strength needed for technical terrain. This combination ensures maximum uphill speed with downhill performance that stays stable and predictable.
To boost durability and performance, Dynafit adds carbon speed stringers and an extra fiberglass layer. A DNA race base with a special grind provides the finishing touch, helping the ski glide faster across variable snow. For serious racers, the Mezzalama delivers the blend of strength, speed, and precision needed to claim valuable seconds and cross the finish line first.
