The Fischer Transalp Carbon Pro fits as a medium-volume boot on a 100 mm last (measured at the 26.5 reference size, widening 2 mm per full size up). We read it as a touch wider and higher-volume than the Tecnica Zero G Tour Pro and slightly narrower than the Dynafit Radical Pro, a middle-of-the-road touring fit that suits average feet well. Heel hold is a strength, and the instep runs on the lower side, so skiers with a high instep should try the shell before committing.
The Pebax Rnew lower shell punches and heat molds well for a touring boot, so our bootfitters can open the forefoot, sixth-toe, and navicular areas as needed. The carbon-infused cuff is stiffer laterally and does not respond to shaping the way the lower does, so plan cuff-fit work around canting and the power strap rather than expecting to reshape the carbon. The stock Transalp Alpine liner is pre-shaped and moldable and gives a solid out-of-the-box fit.
