Tecnica Zero G Peak W Alpine Touring Boot
The Tecnica Zero G Peak W Alpine Touring Boot is built for fit women who want to move fast uphill and still ski the descent with authority. A 99 mm last fits wider and higher over the instep than that number suggests, and a carbon co-injected Grilamid nylon shell holds a stiff, progressive flex under touring skis 85 to 100 mm underfoot. At 900 grams per boot in a 24.5, with 75 degrees of cuff rotation and a single-lever T-Hike transition, the Tecnica Zero G Peak W suits big-vertical days, ski mountaineering and fast dawn patrol laps.

Why We Like It
- At 900 grams per boot, the Tecnica Zero G Peak W tours with the lightest women's boots in its class while skiing better than most of them.
- A 75-degree range of motion gives a long, near-frictionless stride for skinning, bootpacking, and scrambling.
- The carbon co-injected shell and cuff deliver a progressive, predictable flex that punches above the weight on the descent.
- The single-lever T-Hike walk mechanism locks securely and transitions in one motion.
- The ISO 9523 Vibram sole and certified tech inserts handle rocky approaches and pair with pin/tech touring bindings.
- The C.A.S. shell and liner are heat moldable, so a bootfitter can take up volume or ease a pressure point as a foot needs.
Best Uses
- Ski mountaineering and technical objectives
- Long, high-vertical tour days
- Fast-and-light spring missions and traverses
- Touring skis 85 to 100 mm underfoot

Bootfitter's Advice
The Tecnica Zero G Peak W is built on a 99 mm last, but it fits with more width and volume than that figure suggests, and more than the Zero G Tour Pro W. The toe box is generous, the forefoot sits at medium and the instep is high. The women's version ships with an insole in the liner that takes up some of that volume, and length runs a little short, so check toe room carefully. After fitting hundreds of women tourers, we find the Zero G Peak W suits skiers who want a light boot without pressure over the instep.
Skiers with narrow, low-volume feet or slim heels should plan on a thinner liner or padding to lock the heel, while very wide forefeet may still need a sixth-toe punch. The carbon co-injected shell accepts professional heat molding and moderate punching, but the carbon reinforcement makes it less forgiving of large modifications than a plain Grilamid boot, so starting with the correct shell shape matters. The lightweight liner is thin and packs out over time; skiers with cold feet often upgrade to a warmer aftermarket liner.
