Why We Like the Weston Riva Splitboard

The Weston Riva Splitboard rides the entire mountain with grace and is for riders who prefer stability at speed, float in powder, and who still want to rail turns in variable snow. Take this board on long walks in the backcountry to tackle any line on any aspect. Truly an all-mountain freeride machine that handles steep drops and cliffs while floating over everything.

A splitboard that can ride switch is useful when doing big tours with hidden conditions over the ridge or thru the forest. This directional freeride board has 1 cm of taper and slightly more tip rocker than tail rocker. Paired with a 10mm setback, you can rail hard turns while still being able to float through pockets of pow. The Weston Riva is highly decorated and sought after to replace splitboards that don't entirely turn when you want them to and feel sluggish. The sustainable tri-wood core and x2 carbon stringers give the board all the pop you need to exit turns with power or drop into more prominent, steeper lines. Riders who need versatility and a board built for the whole mountain will love this splitboard

A reliable split for Patagonic adventures

The Riva Splitboard is the best splitboard I've had, my home conditions are very harsh, ice on the way up and down, change of snowpack from one moment to another. This board has always been so confortable to navigate trough this terrain, and also very versitle and playful! Totally recomend it.

    playful and chargy

My favorite splitboard from Weston so far - super playful and chargy. I love it in deep powder, on choppier terrain and on groomers. Overall versatile & playful :)

    Charger!!!

my go-to! absolutely. This thing was designed to charge big lines. It handles chunder and questionable snow really well - and sails on deeper days.

My board duo is this and the Revel Split --- Revel is more fun for slower, smaller turns... but the Riva, you just open up and fly!

    Your Ride or Die board

Just like your BFF, this board will be your ride or die. She’ll go with you through and of the conditions you might find yourself in the back country. Trees? She’ll make you look good. Ice? No problem. Deep powder? Thats where she thrives. Crusty? She’ll make it fun. Not the lightest on the way up, but the security and dependability on a sketchy skin track will be worth the weight. And durability, don’t worry about it. The top sheets and side walls can take a beating without damage! While its a womens specific board, smaller framed guys will also appreciate the smaller sizes.

    Great all around backcountry board!

If you are looking for a very well-rounded board that can take you through trees, steeps, deep pow, couloirs, pillows and everything between then this is the board for you! I have been riding in the backcountry for a long time and really appreciate it's versatility and that it's a women's specific board.

    Your new favorite split

When I got my hands on the RIva this season, it absolutely blue my socks off. So capable in all kinds of conditions. Feels nimble, yet sturdy. Holds an edge but floats in pow. Whether it's your first backcountry season or you're starting to head out into some big mountain lines, I don't think you'll be disappointed to have a Riva at your feet.

    A do everything board

This board is the most dependable and versatile board I have ever ridden. You can take it through the crud, the ice, the steeps and the tightest trees without it batting an eye. Its profile allows great contact in the ice as well as superb float in deep pow. The up hill is pretty great too. While its not as light as the carbon boards, it’s dependability and durability gives takes loads off my mind knowing I wont blow it up on a creek crossing or a random shark fin. And for the those that like to keep things looking pretty- the top sheet is bomb proof!

The splitboard that can do it all!

Finally! A ladies splitboard designed to face any adventure. As a person who spends a lot of time in the back country, I was very impressed with the versatility of this board. It's camber/rocker and directional design allows for peak responsiveness in all types of terrain such as pillows, deep powder, groomed resort skiing, steep couloirs, tight trees and everything in between. I definitely found an improvement in my riding after purchasing the board this year. Would, and have already, recommended it to all my friends!

    Absolutely Incredible

Finally, a splitboard made for the aggressive woman rider! The stiffness provides stability especially on steep terrain and the directional shape really allows for maximum float in powder. No matter what the condition, the Riva crushes it. The camber underfoot along with Weston's Split Tech and weighted tail make the uphill much easier, giving me more confidence, especially when needed in variable terrain. It is amazing how stable it feels yet how light it is. If you want to charge steep and deep, have fun whipping around trees, and be on the best women's splitboard, I highly recommend the Riva.
