The Tecnica Zero G Peak W Alpine Touring Boot is Tecnica's latest foray into the ultralight touring world. Their goal was to create a lightweight boot without compromising the downhill turn and feel. The Peak is a downhill performance boot masquerading as a lightweight speed-touring and ski mountaineering machine.
Optimized for Efficient Uphill and Down
A key feature of the Zero G Peak W is the T-Hike, a lightened version of the double blocking walk mechanism we loved so much from the old Zero Gs, to give a progressive yet strong flex and bomber cuff connection. To reduce weight and increase overall stiffness, co-injected carbon through the cuff and ankle are paired with Grilamid material. An added carbon layer on the sole increases torsional rigidity by 10%, for more powerful, responsive skiing.
Thermo-Moldable Shell for Customized Fit
