Why We Like the Weston Eclipse Womens Splitboard

The Weston Eclipse splitboard will quickly become your favorite deck with its powder & freeride shape that can bust through crud, surf through powder, and rail turns on hardpack. The hybrid shape is built with an extended nose, tapered crescent shaped tail, and 10mm of setback for improve edge control and float.  The tapered tail will keep riders nimble in the trees. The mid-stiff flex give the board stability at high speeds.

At demos throughout the year, riders continue to come back smiling after riding on the Eclipse. Building a board with wider specs and good sidecut for ladies who charge was Weston's goal. The 1cm of taper from tip to tail allows for quick edge-to-edge control on steeper slopes. Wider than both the Riva & Rise, the Eclipse splitboard competes with the Jones Hovercraft as the most versatile women's board for those who want control and float.

Grab the Weston Eclipse if you are looking for an upgrade to your current board or are simply looking for the best value for an all-mountain freeride powder splitboard.  With a camber rocker design it'll feel like the board was made for you. Grab it in your normal size if you love going fast or slightly smaller if you prefer tight trees.

    Hard charging quiver killer!

This board does it all, floats through pow, charges through hard pack and crust, and nimble in the trees. Most importantly for me, the turn initiation is stellar! A true joy to ride. Can't say enough good things. If you want a hard charging all-mountain split, this is it!

    stable and floaty

This is the widest board I ever owned and will probably stay with this width because of the stability it give, and makes it floaty and chargy through any terrain. As a smaller person (5'4, 125 lbs) I added some forward lean on my bindings to keep the same responsiveness I would have with a narrower board. Love it.

    MY FAV BOARD

I work as a splitboard guide, and I cannot say enough great things about this board. It's my favorite of all time. Genuinely fun, rips a stellar pow turn or deep carve, does just fine in steep, variable conditions, and flies in open bowls. I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do, but it has become my every day. It's stable, but poppy and responsive.

    100% IN LOVE

Oh man, this is my new favorite board of all time. I feel in charge in all conditions, but yet it's still nimble and responsive. Excels in both big powder bowls and through the trees. Really happy with how well it holds an edge too. Although this thing was built for slashing pow, I don't think you would go too far wrong if this was your only ride down the mountain.

    Perfect all-mountain all-abilities board!

This board rips! Tight enough sidecut for it to move nimbly through the trees yet durable enough to charge while absorbing the chatter of crummy conditions. Beautiful spoon up front that keeps you floating above anything that variable backcountry conditions can throw at you. I absolutely love this board!

    Weston Eclipse 155

This board and accompanying set up (spark r&d arc bindings and pomoca skins) has been amazing. It rides like an absolute dream. Its been fantastic in powder, maneuvering in trees and the final ride down the forest roads. It’s easy to set up and easy to use. My only issue was the board was essentially “glued” together, i took it to the shop since I couldn’t split it and didn’t want to break it. They told me that epoxy most likely leaked out during the drying/pressing process and glued it together. But cripple creek quickly fixed it more me and I was able to ride the next day!
