Touring:

  • Rotate either way just past 90 degrees until stops sideways
  • Open toe unit jaws by pressing down on toe lever
  • Press or step on the brake pad to lock brakes up if brakes are installed
  • Bump center plastic piece on toe unit with the front of the boot and press down.
  • Lock the toe by pulling up on the toe lever all the way up through ratcheting clicks 
  • Flip two heel risers forward as need for added climbing height

Skiing:

  • Rotate heel unit so that rear pins face forward
  • Bump center plastic piece on toe unit with the front of the boot and press down.
  • Step down to engage rear pins
  • Press down on toe lever with ski pole to exit binding

Adjustment:

  • Boot sole adjustment of 30 mm, use posi drive #3 bit in lowest rear screw
  • Ensure it is adjusted with zero gap on the pins between the rear of the boot and the heel unit
  • Lateral and forward release values are adjustable using posi drive #3 screwdriver in the top screw on the rear of the heel unit. Ensure the desired release value inside the indicator window

Binding Specifics:

  • Heel unit has rearward travel for flexing skis, no gap between the rear of the boot and heel unit.
  • The heel tower is symmetrical and can be turned either way for touring mode
  • Snow and ice buildup is easier to clear on the G3 bindings due to higher and more open toe piece
  • If brakes are installed, they will be loose and rattle. While it may seem improper this is normal
