Versatile Telemark Binding for Resort and Backcountry Ski Touring

The TwentyTwo Designs AXL is the Telemark Binding that will charge hard all day at the resort, but still give you the freedom to take the binding where no lifts have gone before. Featuring an adjustable preload system with three positions and underfoot cable routing, the AXL gives you tunable and responsive skiing in all snow conditions. For bombproof and versatile free heel performance, it's tough to beat the AXL.

Free Pivot Mode and Bomber Durability

The AXL has all the features of the old Hammerhead binding and then some: six-hole mounting pattern to prevent rip outs, long lasting chrome springs, and a stainless toe piece, but most importantly it has a free pivot mode to make uphill touring a breeze. Lets face it tele skiing is a snowy, icy sport, but if you are looking for a binding that won't ice up and has reliable durability, then you have found it with the AXL. Made in the USA.

    Works well, solid binding

    I actually got out for a day on these due to a late season snow. Even with fresh 14" deep the binding wasn't too hard to change from locked to pivot mode. I did have to dig some hard snow out. Solid like all bindings in the hammerhead family

    Great binding

    Great binding and great service. Skied for years on G3 Targas and immediately noticed how much stiffer this binding is. More pop and more power. Great service from the shop too in mounting these on Voile Superchargers!
