Meidjo 3 Ski Brakes allow you to simplify your telemark ski and remove the lease (if that's what you're into). Now new for the Meidjo 3 Ski Brake are replaceable rubber stops for the ski brakes.
The brakes work fine when needed but makes it super hard to get boot properly engaged except on perfectly flat surfaces. This completely voids the benefits of the Meidjo binding easy step in functionality

Binding works as it should. Fitting onto the 2.0 upgraded to 2.1 was quite fussy in that the binding's spring system was a about 1/8" wider than the slot it has to fit into and took a bit to get it to fit. All good though. Fantastic binding system.
The brakes were already what I needed and are working great!
The crew did a great job mounting this binding on an asymmetric ski.
Easy enough to self install and works as described
30 years on Tele and just switched to NTN. New boots and new bindings. Had to go back to basics for a few days, but the new gear is much more responsive and better able to power down the hill. The Meidjo 3 looks complex and the on-line videos make it look complex, but in reality this is an easy binding to use. Get it with the ski brakes - they help with positioning the toe into the binding.
