Why We Like the Dynafit Tigard 130 Touring Boot

The Tigard 130 is the newest touring boot offering by Dynafit. This boot is made for skiers who prioritize downhill performance but still want an enjoyable uphill experience. The Grilamid material with carbon fiber offers great rigidity at a progressive flex of 130. Combined with GripWalk soles, this boot fits the bill for backcountry chargers and those looking for a one-boot quiver to be used in the resort or for touring.

While those with narrow to mid width feet might find the ever popular Dynafit Radical Pro boots to be too spacious, they will be happy to hear the Tigard comes in a slightly narrower 101mm last (103mm in the Radical Pro).

At 1550g, this boot is more comparable in weight to more uphill focused boots. Beyond the weight, there is 70 degrees of range of motion, which has typically only found on 1000g ski mountaineering boots. Pairing all of this with the Hoji Lock system makes the Tigard one of the best walking boot in the downhill focused, four buckle boot category.
