Description
Black Crows began in Chamonix with the design of the Corvus shape. A ski meant for charging big mountain conditions that blended modern shaping techniques with what works from skiing's history. The Corvus Freebird is the touring-friendly ski light enough for the up with real downhill freeride charging power.
Tech Specs
The Corvus Freebird is meant to ski powder at speed with a large rockered tip, camber throughout the midsection, and a lightly rockered tail. We also really like the amount of taper from tip to tail which makes the ski plane on top and pivots better in soft snow. However, you don't ever get purely perfect pow in the alpine. Black Crows' Freebird construction has incredible dampness to weight qualities for when that fast powder turn encounters a little buried debris or frozen roller balls in the apron. These damp and solid qualities are the product of a Paulownia and Poplar core with carbon and glass fiber layers.
The pink color when matched with Black Crows custom Pomoca skins will make you stand out heading up the mountain and shredding down.
