Why We Like the Blizzard Rustler 9 Alpine Ski
Blizzard's Rustler 9 are all-mountain chargers, at home on groomers, bumps, and firmer snow conditions but don't count them out when new snow starts to pile up. The already excellent Rustler is updated for the 2023/24 season, making them more stable and versatile.
Blizzard has given the Rustler their TrueBlend core, which combines the stiffness of Beech underfoot, with light, smooth flexing properties from Poplar and Paulownia in the tip and tail. The shape of the titanal plate has also been updated to where it now wraps around the edges of the ski. This adds stability and creates a more dynamic feel in the torsional flex. Finally, the freeride rocker profile adds float, making them capable skis off-piste as well.
All the updates in construction make the Rustler 9 a great choice in all varieties of snow conditions, giving you a smooth ride in chop and agility in tight terrain.
