Why We Like the Blizzard Sheeva 11 Alpine Ski

Meet the Blizzard Sheeva 11 - Effortless float, stability at high speeds, reliability in steep terrain, agility in trees. Advanced skiers seeking a powder ski with these qualities look no further. You'll be hard-pressed to find many women's skis at this width (112mm) with this much metal.

Blizzard uses their TrueBlend core, which is stiffer Beech underfoot for power and stability, and a combo of Poplar and Paulownia at the tip and tail for low swing weight and allows for smooth flex in and out of turn. On top of the wood core, are two titanal stripes that run along the edge of the skis for stability and dynamic torsional flex. Underfoot are shock-absorbing laminates that make the skis reduce chatter. Lastly, the freeride rocker profile works with the big shovels of the skis for float no matter how deep.

Rather you plan to use alpine bindings for resort powder days, or hybrid bindings for side-country missions, you'll find a huge smile on your face as you try but fail to find the limits of these skis.
