The Soltera 2.5 is Aventon's lightest e-bike and it is aimed squarely at city riding. At 46 lb it is manageable on a stairwell or a bike rack, and the 6061 double-butted aluminum frame hides the battery well enough that most people will not clock it as electric. A 350 W rear hub motor delivers 45 Nm through a double-sided torque sensor, which reads how hard you are pedaling and matches it, so assist feels like stronger legs rather than a throttle.

The 36 V, 9.6 Ah, 345.6 Wh battery is rated up to 46 miles and removes for charging. It ships as a Class 2 bike with assist and throttle to 20 mph across four modes. The 2.5 revision brought two changes worth knowing: hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors replacing the old mechanical setup, and a shortened reach for a more upright position in traffic. Kenda 700x38C tires roll fast on pavement, the fork is rigid alloy, and a 7-speed Shimano drivetrain with a twist shifter keeps things simple. Integrated lights include turn signals. Three sizes fit riders from 5 ft 1 in to 6 ft 2 in.
