The Black Diamond Cirque Touring packs are designed for those skiers seeking technical backcountry lines or ski mountaineering objectives. This series of pack features a variety of designs implemented for weight savings and ease of use despite for those skiers who need to go light and fast, yet still carry the requisite gear for demanding technical ascents. For example, the top loading pack uses Black Diamond's cinch-closure system enabling the user to open the pack with one gloved hand and includes a rope carrying strap. It also has connection points for technical ice equipment. The pack itself is woven out of Dynex fabric, a close relative of dyneema nylon, which is highly resistant to abrasion and tearing. The pack also features side carry or A-frame style ski or split board carrying systems and also features a side zipper for easy access to the main compartment. This pack is compatible with Avalung technology which are sold separately.
