Why We Like the Cast Touring System Complete Kit
The Industry Redefining Hybrid Binding. The Cast system is a stand-alone touring kit that allows only the hardest riders the comfort of safety at the sacrifice of weight. With more and more in the ski touring realm leaning into hybrid development. Cast has developed a unique idea that is still trying to be repeated today. By utilizing your standard Look pivot 18 or Look Pivot 15 you can be touring freely with the simple switch of the toe piece. While you may utilize any Hybrid boot with toe pins, we recommend using a stiffer boot with Gripwalk (ISO 23223) compatibility.
The Cast Freetour Upgrade Kit includes all of the components you will need to add touring capabilities to your Look Pivot 15 or 18 alpine bindings and utilizes the same Look Pivot hole pattern. Look Pivot 12 and 14 alpine bindings DO NOT work with the Cast Freetour Upgrade Kit. The Cast Freetour Upgrade Kit does not include Look Pivot 15 or 18 alpine bindings. If you need those, purchase our Cast Freetour Pivot 15 or 18 bindings with the Cast Freetour Upgrade Kit already installed.
