Its aluminum construction lends to its impressive durability, while features like three riser levels for varying steepness, heel elasticity for absorbing impact, and a functional integrated brake for quick transitions put this binding in the lead for best-in-class performance. Make your skis really pop as you send it on the coolest lines with the DPS R10 inspiring confidence from peak to base.
Tech Specs
For the advanced ski athlete and beginning backcountry enthusiast alike, the DPS R10 Alpine Touring Binding offers superior durability and bomber performance at an extreme lightweight of 260g. The modern ramp angle perfectly complements today's ski flex profiles, with 10mm of elastic travel in the heel absorbing the impact from jumps and compressions on the skis. This is unlike the rigid pin bindings and allows you to stay true to your ski style.
An adjustable release value of 5-10 lets you easily set this for your individual height and skier type, with the 20mm of heel adjustment accommodating different sole lengths. This allows you to stay light for your mountaineering missions and still adjust for the big days when you want to drive your skis with a stiffer boot. The easy entry step-in makes getting locked in a breeze, while the additional Uphill Hardness Variator enables you to change your retention on the ascent when sidehilling icy slopes or on steeper pitches. With a functional, integrated brake that releases with the press of a button, you have your choice between six different widths, making this ideal for any ski in the quiver.
While the DPS R10 binding seeks to impress with its lightweight functionality and downhill stability and performance, it isn't surprising at all with DPS once again raising the bar with their ATK-manufactured design. And for the aggressive slayers who need a little more oomph in their binding, check out the DPS R14.
