Dynafit Hoji Free Touring Boot

Following one of the best touring boots in decades. The Hoji Free is the perfect touring boot for anyone looking to stiffen up their quiver. The Hoji Free has been modified from it's predecessor to allow for an alpine compatible boot. By adding full heel and toe compatible bails, and updated forward lean, the Hoji Free can be used with any Alpine MNC plated binding as well as any Touring binding on the market.

The Hoji Free uses a combination of Grilamid and Fiberglass to give the boot a progressive 130 flex similar to an alpine boot. The Hoji ultra lock strap gives you the ability to quickly change from walk mode to tour mode in the matter of seconds. The final addition to the Hoji free is the added spoiler that can be removed to change the forward lean from 17 degrees to 11 degrees.

The Hoji free has also been updated with a slightly narrower last of 102mm versus the Hoji pro's 103 mm last. With this update Dynafit added the All new Hoji free liner. This will be an exclusive liner for the Hoji free and features a Liner and footbed designed by the experts at Sidas.

As with all of Dynafits touring boots, the Hoji free features a Pomoca rubber sole to allow any skier to travel over mixed terrain with ease. Whether it is rock, snow, or ice the Hoji Free will stick to any condition you step your boot onto.

Is renting right for you?

Rentals are a great way to lower the cost for your first time trying the sport and narrowing down what you are looking for. We rent both super light fitness setups for resort uphilling as well as all mountain skis better for backcountry and soft snow.

There are a few limitations of renting. Most importantly the demands on your feet for walking uphill in a hard plastic require a level of boot fitting and customization that is impossible to get in rental boot. This could set you up for some discomfort. There are too many models of skis out there to try them all, so demoing to buy has become impossible. In the end, once you are hooked for the sport, working with our backcountry experts will be the most efficient and least expensive way to get dialed in the perfect setup for you.

Ask a Question: Can you fix that?
Thanks for the skis

Still haven’t toured them yet but downhill they’re great. A bit uncomfortable around the outside arch of my foot. Is that something that you can fix?

Dynafit Hoji Free Boot

They were difficult to punch out for my large ankles. Once fitted, they ski great, and go uphill better than any other boot I've had in this weight range.

Best overall boot in history

Stop what you're doing and get this boot. I skied the hell out of it both at the resort and in the backcountry and it completely EXCELLED. It crushes downhill like a true 130 alpine boot, and has literally the best walk mode ever invented. Hoji must have a degree in mechanical engineering or something because this boot is SICK!!!
