Description
This new innovative skin attachment system for the Dynafit's Blacklight Pro alpine touring ski allows you to use a 3/4 length Speedskin with a unique tail clip notch built into the aft base of the ski.  This lowers skin weight by nearly 50 grams and increases glide while ensuring a solid tip and tail connection to eliminate skin failures in the field.  The engineers at Dynafit seem to never sleep with their constant innovation and system upgrades.  The Speedskin material is Pomoca's hydrophobic 70/30 mohair/nylon blend that has the best glide to grip in the business!

Dynafit Blacklight Pro Pin-Skin

This is just an initial review. It's essentially Pomoca Free skins pre-cut to Blacklight Pro skis with pin attachment. It fits perfectly to my Blacklight Pro. If you pull too hard or too little from the tip attachment when installing, sometimes it doesn't align exactly to the pin hole and had to do it over, a little getting use to, and I started attaching from the pin. The skin is still new and does not glide as smooth as my well worn BD mohair mix (several pairs, some up to 10 years old) but I hope it gets smooth gliding soon. The 3/4 length by pin attachment definitely showed its inferior grips when the slope started to get steep or uneven ground. On my first day it iced up a bit due to the temp/moisture of that day, but I'm planning on putting glop stopper wax on them. The pin interferes with "ski-mo rip" if that's your concern. What I like is it folds very small and light.
