Dynafit W Alpine DNA Running Shoe
The ALPINE DNA is a race-oriented version of the ALPINE Trail Running Shoe. With its lightness and a minimalist upper, the ALPINE DNA is a racing shoe for fast, technical trails with challenging downhills.
The Adaptive Fit System is a lacing system that enables you to find a comfortable and precise fit for your foot. Its rounded Alpine Rocker sole design and well-balanced cushioning help the shoe achieve a dynamic yet responsive ground feel.
The ALPINE DNA offers yet another feature with a "Volume Reducer, " which is essentially an extra footbed. This extra footbed allows you to lower the shoe’s mid-volume design to give your foot a more snug fit. The ALPINE DNA also has a VIBRAM outsole made with a MEGAGRIP rubber blend that gives you secure traction across all types of conditions. The ALPINE DNA is a Trail Running shoe that fulfills everything needed to achieve personal bests and to break old records.
These are super light-weight, responsive trail shoes. The grip on them is unrivaled. They aren't very cushioned so don't get these if you want a squishy ride, but they are amazing for technical, rocky trails. They seem to run pretty small. I wear an 8 in most running shoes, and an 8.5 in Dynafit shoes. I had to put in the volume reducing footbed to make these comfortable. I feel like I have a pretty skinny foot, but the original footbed made me feel like I was going to step out of the shoe, it has a very shallow height. The thinner sole though made these amazing. They have great grip and seem to have really good durability so far. I wouldn't run super long runs in these, but probably up to 20ish miles would be comfy.
