Features
Fischer first brought the Travers to the scene in 2017 with the Travers Carbon and Travers boot. Since their debut, the Travers line of boots has taken the lightweight touring world by storm as combines both a comfortable and lightweight touring boot.
The all-new Travers CS for Carbon Sole uses the same BOA technology as its predecessors and combines a full Grilamid plastic construction in both the cuff and shell. Weighing in at just under 1000 grams the CS is the lightweight training boot for tackling an endeavor. A full 80-degree cuff articulation gives the Travers one of the widest cuff rotations on the market for touring boots. Once locked into ski mode the Phat Maxx velcro power strap takes over and makes for a mid-range flex that maintains rigidity and control over a skier.
What makes the CS stand out from the rest of the Travers line is the Aramid/Carbon plate added to the Sole of the boot. This gives an outstanding torsional stiffness that will allow you to push those carbon planks at mock speed. While the boot does not retain a full carbon construction the Durability of its Grilamid build will ensure durability season after season, as well as the ability to micro-adjust and customize the shell to the proper fit.
