The Kryptonite New York Standard U-Lock is a high-security u-lock for riders parking in dense urban areas. A 16mm hardened MAX-PERFORMANCE steel shackle with a 4 by 8 inch internal opening resists cutting and prying, earning a 9 out of 10 security rating.

A disc-style cylinder resists picking and drilling behind a hardened double deadbolt. The lock ships with a FlexFrame-U transport bracket and a sliding dust cover, and weighs 4.45 pounds.
