With a carbon-reinforced shell, this ~1200 g boot is lightweight and reliable for long, technical ascents yet surprisingly stiff and supportive on the descent.
Coming in at 1190 g (size 27), the Skorpius CR II has a carbon-reinforced Pebax shell that cuts down on weight and thickness while maintaining a more progressive 100 flex. Compared to other boots in this class, the Skorpius CR II is well-loved for its ability to drive wider skis easily. Lightweight and 68 degrees of motion ensure this boot is highly efficient going up so you can get in that extra lap. With three adjustable settings (12°, 14°, or °16), you can customize your forward lean for maximum comfort and performance. With a 101 mm last, the Skorpius CR II fits a variety of foot shapes. The thermo-moldable liner works with the shell and cuff for an ergonomic fit with ankle protection. A new upgrade to this boot is the BOA® cable over the forefoot that creates a more precise fit. With the BOA and an integrated tongue, you'll have a dynamic fit that locks the heel and wraps the foot nicely, allowing for more control on the downhill.
