The Focus Voice is Ortovox's spoken-navigation transceiver, succeeding the Diract Voice, and it uses Smart-Antenna Technology to select the transmitting antenna automatically based on how the unit is oriented in the snow. Spoken instructions during a search reduce the amount of attention spent reading a screen at the point when attention is scarcest.
